The Concierge Contractor
It’s a matter of trust
Being a contractor who does mainly remodel work is a very weird experience. I am constantly meeting new people, and being invited into their homes to see how I can help them improve their space. I get to see the best and worst parts of their home. Through the course of the renovation I also get to see all different sides of my clients.
As the client gets to know me and my crew more they ask us to do all sorts of tasks.
Dog walking, Alarm setting, Plant watering, Cottage closing, House Cleaning, and even Babysitting.
Don’t get me wrong. I take these tasks to heart. They mean that not only are they seeing that we are doing a great job with their project but that they trust us.

The byproduct of that is trust and that is one of the most valuable currencies a contractor can get. When the bank is full of trust it can help the whole project go smoothly.
Earning the trust of your clients is useful in every aspect of the renovation. A client has to trust that I have their best intentions in mind.
